Who We Are: We are single adults in our 20's, 30's, and 40's who strive to grow our spiritual life rooted in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as redeemer and savior.
Our Vision: To build a Singles Ministry community of faith, with the collaboration of several parishes, that increases participation at our parishes and evangelizes our faith to new members in the surrounding community.
Our Mission: To invite, empower, and enable single adults to live the Gospel in their daily lives. We provide opportunities for single adults to practice the gospel values of fellowship, service, and spiritual participation.

St. James Singles Events this Month:
Sunday, August 7th: Dinner After 6:00 PM Mass.
Join other singles for dinner after Mass, no advance reservations required. Casual atmosphere. We'll meet by 7:30 at The Tidewater restaurant in Solana Beach, just off the 101 north of Via de la Valle. For more information, contact Jane at janemariew@hotmail.com.
Saturday, August 13th: Service Opportunity with San Diego Youth and Community services.
Spend a day at the beach from 11 - 2 pm with at-risk youth from the Storefront location in downtown San Diego. We'll meet on the grass at Del Mar beach. For more information, contact Leo at LOLoughlin@SempraServices.com.
Thursday, August 18th, 7:30 PM: The Spirit of Fear.
What does the Bible say about fear and anxiety? How did the apostles overcome fear and how does that apply to our lives today? Learn how to discern what fear is telling you in your life and how to build a courageous spirit. Series continues on Aug 25th with the Spirit of Truth. Come hear scientific studies that show couples with a personal relationship with God have much more success and fulfillment. Professor at the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family and Director of St. Michael's Institute for the Psychological Sciences, Dr. Phillip Mango explores the basic psychological differences between men and woman.
